What's the big win we're aiming for?

Growing our user base by taking the tool to 3 new countries: UK, Canada, and Australia. Let's go!

Teachers in the Driver's Seat: Their Habits Shape the Design

Word of Mouth

Teachers rely heavily on trusted colleagues' recommendations for new tools and resources

Trust

Positive recommendations from colleagues significantly influence a teacher's decision to try a new tool

Collaboration

Teachers value teamwork and sharing resources with colleagues within their department and across the school

Community

Teachers value sharing best practices and learning from colleagues. They are more receptive to a tool if it fosters a sense of community.

So what could be the possible strategy for this task?

Shifting from teacher-centric to school-centered fosters a sense of community, realism, and future-proofs the product strategy.

This will give us some clear advantages

  • School Level Data

A free user never had access to one point where he could have entire school-level information gathered. This could become that spot.
  • Collaboration

As soon as the school-level engagement is introduced the page promotes more collaboration among teachers
  • Awareness

Since we can start driving engagement on the school page, it becomes a great canvas to build product awareness.
  • Community

The school page will have the capability to promote a sense of community within the school environment

What are we trying to achieve with the design?

How might we introduce this new tool into the user lifecycle while fostering long-term trust?

Introducing
Free-For-Schools

A new program for teachers in focus countries allows them to create feature-rich school pages, for exploration and collaboration

Lets talk about some crafted solutions

Design in Action: Solutions for a Smooth Program Experience

Impact

The launch was done with the integration of live support and survey along with Hotjar session triggers

New Teachers Onboarded

Out of all the teachers who got onboarded to the product around 1600 were all new teachers

Total Registration Share

Out of all the total registrations in the product, F4S contributed to 10% of the registration

School Pages Created

In the span of a quarter, we created 600+ school pages in the product

Monthly Active Teachers

We had 3500+ monthly active teachers who contributed to the product's performance

That was just a quick peek!
