Merdeka Curriculum: A Change to Embrace

In response to feedback from Indonesian community teachers highlighting a growing emphasis on the new curriculum, we've developed a quick MVP to address this shift in teacher behaviour.

Research

This design experience seeks to capture two key transformations in teacher behaviour within the classroom.

Simplified Grade Levels

There are three main grade levels that teachers navigate within the school system: SMA, SD, and SMP.

Gradual Pace for Learning

The teacher usually begins with easy-to-understand and slow-moving to a higher difficulty level.

What are we trying to achieve with the design?

I designed the user journey around these insights to ensure a seamless experience that mirrors real-world scenarios.

Impact

We launched the MVP and integrated Hotjar sessions targeting early user behaviour. Here are the initial results:

Adoption

We witnessed a 5% adoption rate for the feature from the homepage

Activation

We observed a 24% activation rate from the homepage

Adoption

From the search experience, we observed an 11% adoption rate

Activation

We observed a significant 26% activation rate from the search experience

That was just a quick peek!
